the future would look like in the past.

For example, some dude in the 1950's

draws a picture of a car

he imagines peops'll drive in 1985.

Maybe its a rocket car.

But it's stupid

and you're all like

hahaha there were Dodge Duster Hatchbacks

and Sporty two seater Fieros in the 1980's

that enjoys collecting and running up bills
for hosting cities.
*historically cities lose money on olympics
this years events in BC were
largely protested by Vancouver's communities
they didnt want their city to lose money
to the corporate games in already depressed times
and tho the characters are kawaii mega-cute, 4 sure
to some, the use of indigenous aesthetics,
has been argued as an inappropriate
way to place profit in olympic committee pockets.

while it is up forever debates

those of us who do enjoy the artwork

and the honest fusion

that inspires and move us culturally forward

together

the original spirits of nature

and lore from Beijing's olympic

mascots are another

set of tribal, spirited folk creatures dancing

in the light of human solidarity in

connectedness to the earth

but again because of the politics,

from a questionable source.
